About Sage Haven

We’ve developed the safest messaging app to nudge kids towards kindness and build healthier digital habits. Built by moms, we’re building the product we want for our own families and communities!

We fix group chats!

Kids’ group chats often start in elementary school or early middle school. Whether on watches, tablets, or phones, these group chats frequently expose kids to online bullying and inappropriate content, and get them addicted to constantly checking their devices.

There are valid reasons to allow kids to message online, including coordinating pickups and logistics, making emergency phone calls, or keeping in touch with close friends and family members. Parents need tech they can trust.

Sage Haven allows kids to stay connected while also staying young, kind, and safe.

Built by parents for parents

We built this app out of frustration with the ineffective parental control options out there. As moms, we know it takes a village to protect our kids. Our solution is a parent-in-the-loop app that offers strong safeguards and simple controls for a positive, guilt-free experience. Together, we can raise a new cohort of tech-connected kids with a healthy relationship to technology.

Sage Sisters

We're sisters, moms, best friends, and the Cofounders of Sage Haven. This is very near and dear to our hearts. We are dedicating this effort to a teen family member who went through a mental health crisis largely due to online bullying.

Sage Haven is a Public Benefit Corp

Big Tech has financial incentives to get kids addicted to technology, leading to more ads and less parental guidance. But we are not Big Tech. As a Public Benefit Corp, our success is based on how many kids we can help, not how many ads we sell. Sage Haven’s public benefit goal is to improve the mental health and well-being of our kids.
